Description
Join a team that leverages our strong merchant relationships, our 65 million customer base, and industry leading customer insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences through their purchase journeys.As a Data Owner Lead, within Connected Commerce, you will be part of a highly collaborative data & analytics team that partners with product, design, technology, marketing, and analytics to enable data driven next generation and help craft the data requirements, develop data specifications for data delivery, partner with data delivery tech and product and analytics team to identify data gaps and make recommendations to build AI/ML based solutions.
Job responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners, Leads, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Tech Leads to identify data needed for personalization product capabilities and advanced analytics outcomes.
- Drive increased business value by supporting customer insights and deeper offer engagement through effective data identification.
- Manage the personalization data roadmap, including backlog, requirements, and prioritization to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Lead discovery for new initiatives by determining and refining both business and customer value.
- Collaborate with technology partners to assess technical feasibility and data availability for new projects.
- Refine and prioritize user stories to guide technology development teams in meeting consumer experience requirements.
- Lead sprint planning, execution, and other scrum events to support ongoing technology development and delivery.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, ad-tech, Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google or Azure, and/or experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- Bachelors in Science or Data or any relevant field.
- Experience developing roadmaps and public cloud platform based solutions for data lake, data warehouse and business intelligence dashboards
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams
- Ability to identify and address program execution needs in a fast-paced environment; previous exposure to agile practices and ability to adapt agile tools
- Experience in Data Product ownership, Data governance and ability to work a cross functional & matrix teams, public cloud.
- Ability to partner directly with technology scrum teams to translate product requirements and user stories into technology sizing estimates and requirements
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working on public cloud platforms, AI/ML, digital marketing, controls partners to align roadmap
- Experience in consumer banking, and/or consulting
- Understanding of public cloud technologies, web application frameworks and mobile native technologies
