Job Summary/Description:

KKCO/KJCT is looking for our next Morning/Midday Meteorologist. This candidate is self-motivated, committed to quality control, and must have a passion for weather. We need someone who can produce and present accurate and reliable forecasts. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, versatile, able to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and have a positive attitude. The right candidate will be able to deliver weather on all of our traditional and digital platforms. The right candidate will need to record and produce a digital weather segment 5 days a week.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Distribute weather data with hyper-local information to all TV and digital platforms
- Fill in for other meteorologists as needed
- Regular social media content created and published
- Confident & experienced performance on air

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Meteorology degree
- Experience with WSI
- Strong digital and social content skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
