Job Summary

Sysco is one of the largest eCommerce companies in the US a well-kept secret within the industry, and this role will be instrumental to supporting major growth programs that depend on new eCommerce capabilities in Shop Sysco's eCommerce platform.

This role will support business leaders in driving growth that depends on the development of enduring eCommerce capabilities. These capabilities could range from eMerchandising, digital marketing and channel optimization, operational enhancements, personalization, foundational eCommerce data enablers, and many more.

The Sr. Manager, eCommerce Business Program Management will collaborate with Sysco's Shop product team and business leaders from across the enterprise to deliver new eCommerce capabilities to support growth initiatives. This role will provide input into management of the eCommerce roadmap and accompanying prioritization decisions based on the highest business impact, which at times may require supporting business leaders with quantifying business value and associated investment.

The role will have three specific areas of focus:

eCommerce Program Roadmap and Prioritization: the Sr. Manager will manage new demand ingestion for eCommerce program requests and the related prioritization using business cases and an ROI-driven approach. At times, this will involve supporting business leaders with quantifying business value and/or building business cases to support prioritization decisions. The Sr. Manager will also partner with the Shop product team and business leads to look across programs enabled through Shop to ensure coordination and a seamless experience. As needed, the Sr. Manager will work with business leads to help define desired business outcomes and associated business requirements, while partnering with the Shop product team and business leads to breakdown business requirements and associated solutions into phases with specific testing criteria. This role will support business leads throughout discovery, design, and engineering of product solutions to ensure the timing of new eCommerce capabilities correspond to program milestones. The Sr. Manager will also partner with the Shop analytics team to build testing strategies that test end-to-end program performance and account for how growth programs will work together. Finally, the Sr. Manager will collaborate with the solution architecture, Shop product, and engineering teams to build playbooks for new eCommerce capability rollouts across geographies / lines of business.

Data enablers: Sysco continues to invest in enhancing data enablers to deliver an exceptional eCommerce experience on Shop. This role will partner with One Sysco Data, Merchandising, Business Technology, and other functions to incubate and stand up new programmatic data capabilities to support growth programs driven through eCommerce.

eMerchandising capabilities: in strong partnership with the Shop product team, eMerchandising team, and a broader set of cross-functional stakeholders, this role will help incubate and stand up new eMerchandising capabilities in Shop to enhance the shopping experience.

Success in this role will require close partnership with business leads, Sysco's Shop product team, and Business Technology Project Managers.
