Long Island Radio Broadcasting/LI Digital is seeking a proven Director of Sales to lead our advertising sales team. Based in the Hamptons / Eastern Long Island market, this role involves driving revenue growth through radio and digital advertising solutions, managing client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals. Additionally, Director is required to sell, service and bill accounts.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals. Recruit, train, and develop Account Managers in person Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and local businesses. Collaborate with programming and digital teams to create compelling advertising packages. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Strengthen relationships with Long Island business leaders and community partners. Forecast revenue, manage inventory, and maintain strategic rate integrity.
Requirements
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Knowledge of Long Island's business landscape is a must.
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience
Proven experience in radio sales. Strong leadership and team management skills.
