
Description
Reporting to the Director of Exchange and Study Away, this position is responsible for managing and coordinating several functions including advising a diverse student population, outreach and marketing, managing office digital infrastructure and database, orientation, visa support, data collection and reporting. This position will contribute to the growth and development of the advising team and services offered to students and will train and mentor less experienced advisors. This position will also assist in program planning and management from development phases to assessment, with a particular focus on marketing and recruitment, application processing, and addressing student issues pre-departure and while students are away.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three or more years of of professional experience in international programs or a related field including advising, recruitment, and marketing
- Demonstrated skill in understanding student needs and connecting them with appropriate resources and/or opportunities
- Proficient at designing and implementing programs/workshops and resources
- Experience developing and implementing a marketing plan
- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Office and Creative suites and associated professional software
- Experience using and maintaining database software such as TerraDotta
- Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills, including strong public speaking and presentations skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple projects/tasks, meet deadlines, respond to others in a timely manner, and work both independently and as a collaborative member of ArtCenter with a high standard of integrity and ethics, in support of institutional goals.
- A commitment to DEIAB and culture, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within ArtCenter’s diverse communities
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion and recognize the confidential nature of ArtCenter business
- Strong digital infrastructure skills using online and cloud-connect tools. Examples include video conferencing and communication (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack), file management (Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive), scheduling (Acuity and Doodle), badging (Credly), and website management (Squarespace) platforms
- Willingness to periodically travel domestically and abroad
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree from and accredited college or university
- Experience studying, living, working, and/or traveling abroad
- Experience in art and design education
- Experience creating and managing website content, SquareSpace knowledge preferred
- Proficiency with social media and digital marketing
