Due to extensive funding growth, the Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) seeks qualified applicants for Marketing Manager. The GHPC, established in 1995, integrates research, policy, and programs to advance health and wellbeing.  The center conducts, analyzes, and disseminates qualitative and quantitative research to connect decision-makers with the objective research and guidance needed to make informed decisions about health policy and programs. Today, the center is at work in more than 220 communities in all 50 states, helping our nation to improve health status. In 2017, the GHPC added a global portfolio, including work in Nigeria, Sudan, Kenya, and Ireland.

The Center of Excellence, within GHPC, was created in partnership with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. The COE employs a threepronged focus on research, policy, and practice, and is engaged in providing: workforce development through technical assistance and training to build the capacity of the state’s behavioral health workforce; research and evaluation to monitor and assess behavioral health services for providers and state agencies to measure program effectiveness; and consultative research and policy analysis services for local, state, and national partners focusing on financing structures and service delivery opportunities for improving the behavioral health System of Care.


The Marketing Manager is responsible for working with GHPC’s Center of Excellence, Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), and provider agencies to provide guidance and technical assistance to develop/facilitate consistent organizational branding, products, and communication strategies to enhance community engagement, sustainability, and increase the visibility of public behavioral health safety net services. The Marketing Manager will develop communication tools and deliverables to increase organizational marketing ability and develop targeted strategies to improve marketing and communication capacity.  This is an Atlanta-based position.


  • Manage and develop audience-focused copy for print, web, and social media
  • Development of products (e.g., briefs, newsletters, presentations) to disseminate information on the children’s behavioral health system in Georgia
  • Assess and propose recommendations to improve marketing strategies aimed at improving community engagement and sustainability
  • Provide consultation on ways to increase marketing and community engagement capacity
  • Recommend and provide standardized and tailored technical assistance services based on need
  • Provides leadership, development and management of projects, project portfolios, and competency areas.
  • Serves as a liaison among clients, GHPC, and university personnel while directing projects toward their strategic goals
  • May supervise marketing staff or students as needed


  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, virtual meeting platforms, and WordPress

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
