As our Paid Search Manager, you will work closely with the Director, Digital Marketing to own strategy, execution, and optimization of CommentSold’s paid media campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads to ROI targets. We’re looking for a highly motivated and inquisitive candidate who has direct experience in B2B performance-based lead gen campaigns on Google and Bing. Experience managing B2B SaaS accounts is preferred. 

In this job, you will:

  • Execute, monitor, and analyze campaigns on Google, Bing producing insights that drive performance
  • Perform search query analysis, bid optimizations, keyword research, write & test ad copy, and optimize campaign structure to meet performance goals
  • Monitor budgets and optimize campaigns for performance on an ongoing basis to reach spend and performance targets 
  • Perform regular analysis on the post-lead performance of paid media channels and campaigns, drilling down to potential influences and ideating next steps
  • Continuously ideate, implement and measure results of A/B tests for elements such as creative, audiences, ad formats, etc. optimizing for backend conversions
  • Manage and grow direct response YouTube & GDN campaigns
  • Stay apprised of industry standards, ad platform changes, new paid media opportunities and implement new strategies to reach targets
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to drive marketing projects from idea to execution 

If you’re right for this role, you have:

  • 4+ years experience directly managing, optimizing, and reporting on paid media campaigns on Google and Bing
  • Experience with YouTube and GDN a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple channels
  • Strong knowledge of media metrics
  • Solid knowledge in Excel & Google Docs (e.g. Pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) 
  • Data-driven thinking to test and iterate based on data-driven insights
  • Curious mindset in performance, business 
  • An understanding of complex sales funnels and consumer journeys 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience
