We are looking for a full-time Marketing leader to join our team to make significant contributions toward expanding the usage and awareness of Highlight in the healthcare industry. The Job’s Mission: The Director of Marketing plays a critical role in achieving the Kinnos Mission of empowering people with colorization technologies to create a safer world by providing society with peace of mind through disinfection you can see. This role reports directly to the CEO and will hold a seat on the Kinnos Management Team. The right marketing leader will thrive at Kinnos if she/he is motivated by a fast-paced environment with a high level of accountability and near-term impact from their efforts. This role will be responsible for working across all functional areas of the organization to create the proper messaging needed to tell the Kinnos story to relevant stakeholders and will need to lead the organization in bringing this story to life through various channels. This position requires a passion for customers, partners, technology innovation, product excellence, and innovative healthcare B2B (and to a lesser extent, B2C) marketing. The Director of Marketing is responsible for educating and engaging customers, partners, and thought leaders in the healthcare quality and infection prevention market to Kinnos. This role will lead the go-to-market strategy and positioning for new and existing products, generating brand awareness, and monitoring market trends from a competitive and new opportunity perspective. We are looking for an experienced product and corporate marketer who will drive a culture of marketing excellence within the organization.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Develop the Strategic Marketing Plan to develop the market for Highlight in Healthcare including the value proposition, messaging, positioning, pricing, and channel drivers

Lead the execution of the Marketing plan including the implementation of a customer playbook to lead customers from awareness to trial to adoption to sustained/loyalty and referenceability

Interface on a regular basis with clinical and sales teams as subject matter expert in both pre- and post-sales scenarios to ensure proper execution of our strategy at the field/customer level

Build a world-class product and corporate marketing team over time as the company grows into a world-class infection prevention and cleaning innovator

Develop key markets by building relationships with customers, KOLs, advisors, and other relevant constituents/stakeholders to build a foundation of credibility for the Kinnos solution

Regularly review and optimize product positioning, including market need, value proposition, stakeholders/targets, market trends, competitive/complementary offering analysis, and metrics demonstrating value creation as well as market development

Create and spearhead marketing campaigns that lead to quantifiable increases in customer adoption, revenue growth, and product awareness

Work together with Product and R&D teams to identify and prioritize modification of features for existing products or design and development of new products using both qualitative and quantitative insights

Utilize design and content resources to create marketing collateral that clearly articulates the advantages of Kinnos products

Plan, organize, and deliver product launches

Support the Clinical function of Kinnos in building credibility in the Healthcare market through published papers, events, and KOL engagement

Guide product messaging and positioning, sales collateral, demos, presentations, and sales tools based upon customer insights and market landscape

Select and manage multiple marketing partners and agencies ranging from digital design to public relations to events

Train other customer-facing personnel on essential aspects of product functionality and usability

Establish a consumer engagement and stakeholder coalition strategy

Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-
5+ years of marketing and/or communications/PR experience, prior sales experience is strongly preferred
-
Domain expertise in the healthcare market, infection prevention experience is a plus
-
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

Proven track record of creating performance-driven marketing campaigns that led to quantifiable results

Comfortable in a start-up environment making things happen with minimal guidance and limited resources

Highly proactive and able to manage multiple ongoing projects, willingness to collaborate on team projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
