Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa is seeking a strategic, analytical, and collaborative Associate Director of Revenue Management to support the development and execution of revenue strategies that maximize hotel profitability, market share, and overall commercial performance. This role plays a key part in driving room revenue performance through pricing, inventory management, forecasting, demand analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven hospitality professional with a strong understanding of revenue management principles, luxury resort operations, and distribution channels. This position offers flexibility for qualified candidates while maintaining a strong connection to the property's business needs and operational cadence.
Salary Range: $110,700 - $176,800
Location & Work Arrangement
This position may be based on-site at Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa.
The hotel will also consider:
Qualified internal Hyatt candidates residing on the U.S. West Coast who can effectively support the property while working Hawaii Standard Time (HST) business hours.
Qualified external candidates residing within the Hawaii market who can work remotely while maintaining regular alignment with property leadership and business needs.
Regardless of work location, the Associate Director of Revenue Management must be available to participate in meetings, revenue strategy discussions, and business reviews during Hawaii Standard Time (HST) operating hours.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Optimization
Support the development and execution of transient, group, and wholesale pricing strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and total hotel revenue.
Analyze market demand, booking pace, competitive positioning, and economic trends to identify revenue opportunities.
Manage inventory controls, rate availability, length-of-stay restrictions, and yield strategies.
Monitor and optimize distribution channel performance, including Hyatt.com, OTAs, GDS, and third-party partners.
Assist in implementing and evaluating promotional offers, packages, and special pricing initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability across all market segments while maintaining brand positioning and guest value perception.
Forecasting & Reporting
Produce accurate short-term and long-term forecasts for occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room revenue, and market share performance.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
Prepare reports and presentations for property leadership, regional revenue teams, and ownership stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators including RevPAR Index, ADR Index, Occupancy Index, channel mix, booking pace, and demand trends.
Support annual budgeting and long-range planning processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, Finance, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with business objectives.
Participate in revenue strategy meetings, forecasting sessions, and commercial planning discussions.
Support group displacement analyses and evaluate group business opportunities.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing teams to maximize campaign effectiveness, website conversion, and demand generation efforts.
Foster strong communication and alignment among commercial stakeholders.
Leadership & Development
Serve as a strategic partner to the Director of Revenue Management.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to analysts, coordinators, or other team members as assigned.
Demonstrate leadership through collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Support the development and execution of the property's overall commercial strategy.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive hotel revenue management experience.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and revenue reporting tools.
Knowledge of hotel distribution channels, pricing strategies, forecasting methodologies, and demand management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively and independently in either an on-site or remote environment while supporting Hawaii Standard Time business hours.
Preferred
Experience with luxury, upper-upscale, or destination resort properties.
