Job Summary/Description:
KGMB (CBS), KHNL (NBC), and K5 are seeking a Streaming Executive Producer. Hawaii News Now is the state's dominant multimedia news organization. This person must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and must be able to develop and deliver original daily livestream programming.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The successful candidate will lead the streaming effort on all our digital platforms. - We are looking for candidates with experience as a producer in a competitive news market, including working with talent and directors. - Candidates must be great communicators and should have natural leadership skills. - Candidates must be able to sift through complicated issues and provide clarity to viewers and web users. - Adjusting to situations is key, and thinking uniquely to break events. - Multi-tasking is key as you will be juggling many things at once.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience with ENPS and Edius editing is a plus. - Experience producing special reports and breaking news will put a candidate ahead of others. - A college degree in journalism or related experience is required. - Must be able to work extra hours, holidays, etc. - Must have a valid driver's license.
