A day in the life.

As our Sales Intern on the Sales team, you'll support prospecting efforts through pre-meeting research, research meeting note-taking & post-meeting summaries. You will contribute to the planning and execution of events, while also supporting key sales initiatives through strategic planning, research, and analysis.

MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience. Learn to apply the concepts you've learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You'll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency's internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA's goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire. Our internship will focus on the tools needed to build a solid foundation for our Client Management or Sales career pathways.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Working towards or have acquired Bachelor's/master's degree ideally with a focus in business, marketing, digital marketing, sales, communications, public relations/entrepreneurship
• Strong interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency
• Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management, and peers
• Ability to pivot approach when working directly with various colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-Starter with strong ethics

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Proficiency in MS office applications preferred.

The applicable hourly rate for this role is $20.
