Company Overview
The Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association is the official sales and marketing organization for the city of Indianapolis. Our mission is to advance Indianapolis tourism and economic growth. The impact of conventions and tourism on the city of Indianapolis is substantial and ICVA employees should be aware of the significance of our efforts, as well as the responsibility we have to do our job well. In 2006, tourism sales contributed $3.56 billion to Marion County's economy and 66,000 individuals were employed locally in the industry. We market the city to both convention planners and leisure travelers. The ICVA is a membership-based organization so we also actively engage local attractions, restaurants and hotels to work cooperatively at advancing our city's hospitality industry.
