Description
Position Summary
NBI is a performance-oriented company that creates and sells continuing education courses for professional audiences. We integrate AI to elevate the work we do, and believe judgment, taste, and creativity are exactly what matter most in this new landscape. The Content Editor is where that conviction lives in our copy. You are the standard of quality across everything customer-facing, and the creative engine behind the campaigns that win new customers and keep them coming back.
This role sits at the center of how NBI shows up: editing and elevating what our teams produce, drafting the acquisition copy that drives registrations, and bringing a point of view that makes the work sharper and more human. You’ll move fast in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, use performance data to push every piece of copy further, and hold a confident, premium voice that earns the trust of a professional legal audience. As you grow, so does your influence — with the director’s guidance, into NBI’s go-to content authority.
What You’ll Do
Edit & Elevate (owned content)
Edit and strengthen CLE course marketing copy for clarity, accuracy, conversion, and brand voice — high volume, event-specific, direct response copywriting.
Review and improve social media content before it ships, keeping voice and quality consistent across posts.
Ensure CLE course pages and related copy are helpful, clear, accurate, and current.
Draft & Test (acquisition copy)
Write paid search ad copy and a steady stream of test variants, in partnership with the paid media lead and agency.
Draft paid social and other ad campaign copy, tuned to channel, audience, and offer.
Produce high-volume, event-specific promotional copy that drives registrations against tight deadlines.
Iterate on copy using performance data — CTR, conversion, registration — not opinion.
Support Across Channels
Support organic search and email and landing page tests with copy and editing as needed.
Draft product marketing copy, sales collateral, and one-off requests across teams.
Translate complex legal and compliance concepts into clear, confident, conversational copy.
Research legal topics, including CLE rules and regulations, well enough to write and edit credibly for attorneys.
